In our development process for competition frames, aerodynamics is a fundamental pillar. Years have been dedicated to thorough studies, prototype creation, and simulations to ensure maximum performance and ergonomics designed for long distances.
KAMM TAIL SHAPES:
The Kamm Tail shapes in the tube sections make the RS1 a 100% aerodynamically efficient bike.
The aerodynamic design ensures that air flows without generating pressure zones that could affect our speed or the effectiveness of the watts applied. In other words, we have optimised every effort to ensure exceptional performance with every pedal stroke.
PERFORMANCE CARBON LAYUP:
BH's technique for frame construction—Hollow Core Internal Molding—involves internal hollowing and high pressure to achieve the highest levels of compact material, eliminate inconsistent pressures, and prevent bubbles and imperfections in the carbon.
Additionally, we use Performance Carbon Layup, which maximizes the bike's lightness-to-stiffness ratio.
STIFFNESS
In the RS1, we have expanded the bottom bracket shell to 86 mm to maximize stiffness. We have optimized the frame tubes to maintain maximum rigidity with minimum thickness.
REACTIVE
The RS1's shorter chainstays are a key element for its agility and responsiveness.
This unique combination of agility, responsiveness, and aerodynamic efficiency makes the RS1 an outstanding choice for cyclists seeking optimal performance on any terrain.
AERO FORK
The distance to the wheel is maximized, eliminating pressure zones where air flows and asphalt vibrations are absorbed.
This design also allows for tire clearance up to 32mm.
ESSENTIAL COMFORT
The RS1 adopts a specific geometry to make its ride comfortable for most cyclists. The front end is higher thanks to a taller head tube, allowing for a comfortable position while maintaining a racing aesthetic.
